Julie and Mike's Wedding Cake 2001
Two tier fruit cake, iced in white with a bouquet of flowers on each tier. The flowers are flower paste and each bouquet is made up of roses, carnations, stefanotis , gip, foliage and pearl sprays.

In addition to the three tier fruit cake (see below), I also made a single tier sponge cake to please the non fruit cake eaters (like my Hubby !)

The brief of this cake was simple..... elegant with hints of purple which was the theme of the wedding
All three tiers were fruit cake, covered in marzipan. The fondant was then applied. The drape was then put in place .All the flowers / leaves were icing
